Friends. How many of us have them?

Throughout the years, I’ve had about 10 best friends. 1 of which I still actually consider my best friend. My point is that at a younger age it’s harder to find and keep a best friend. People grow up and change. When someone tells you, “You’ve changed.” don’t always take that badly. With growth comes change. When you were 3 years old, you may have liked pancakes, is it a bad thing that you’re now 16 and don’t like pancakes anymore? Of course not. The same goes with friends. When you both were 3 maybe you hated soccer, now that you’re 16 you love soccer, don’t let anyone tell you that such change is a bad thing.

The reality of the matter is that not all friends will stay forever. But you will always be there for yourself. Don’t let others hold you back from achieving what you want to achieve. There’s always someone out there that who will accept you with all your growths and changes, that should be your best friend.

SEX. Remember when we were in elementary school, and the word seemed so mysterious and forbidden? Now that we’re all grown up, it’s a simple word. Many use it often, you see it on TV, you hear about people doing it, you even got taught about sex in school.

I’m not going to tell you what age you should start having sex. That’s up to you. I’m not going to tell you that you should wait until marriage because that’s up to you. However, I am going to tell you that, you should decide when you’re ready. PERIOD. You can be ready to have sex at age 12, at the end of the day, it’s your choice.

So if you wanna have sex, do it. BUT make sure you do it the right way. And when I say right, I mean smart.

Raise your hand if you want to have sex…now keep your hand up if you want to feed, change, watch, and provide for a child for the next 18 years. Let’s be honest, so many teenagers want to have sex without reproducing, and that’s totally okay.

So now the question is, how can we prevent pregnancy? Easy answer. Contraception. Condoms, birth control pills/injections, and barriers. The “pull-out” method, does NOT work.

Anyway…the point is, next time you want to have sex/make love/get intimate with your boo be smart. I’m tired of all these miserable 16 & Pregnant mothers.

Jet Life

Weed, Buddha, Grass, Trees, Purp, Grapes, Hash, MaryJane, Pot. So many names…but in this post I shall call it marijuana.

Let’s be honest, no matter how much your parents don’t want you involved in drugs, you always seem to be involved. Whether it’s watching a movie like Pineapple Express, going to a party with drugs around, hearing your friends talking about getting “high”, or getting high yourself. For many teens nowadays it’s almost impossible to avoid the idea of drugs.

I’m not going to tell you whether or not you should do any sort of drugs. At the end of the day, you’re the boss of your own life. But I am going to tell you that EVERYTHING in life, should be done with moderation, too much of anything can kill you, especially drugs. Just keep that small fact in mind.

So let’s say you enjoy smoking marijuana, it makes you feel good, you’re a modern day hippie. Hey, that’s your decision. Just make sure you completely made that decision. Don’t let other people convince you, convince yourself. Don’t do it because you want to seem cooler. It seems as though some teens are doing drugs, specifically marijuana, because it looks cool, or because all the celebrities are doing it.

Never start a habit for those reasons, especially if that habit isn’t helping you succeed in life. Always ask before picking up a new habit, “Is this going to benefit me?” If it doesn’t, forget about it. If it does, then go for it! :)

101 Problems

This blog isn’t going to be filled with pointless pictures of celebrities, or tattoos, or shoes, or jewelry. So if you’re looking for that, push the back button, please don’t follow me, and have a nice day :)

Now that we’ve made that clear, let me explain to you what this blog spot is going to be about. I’m a teenager, with teenage problems, and teenage experiences. I struggle through life, just like every one else. However, what makes myself different from many others is the fact that I learn from my experiences. I don’t know the solution to EVERY problem, but I know what to do, and what not to do for about 101 problems.

The point is: if you want advice on realistic situations of the teenage life, you should follow me, and have a nice day :)
