Friends. How many of us have them?
Throughout the years, I’ve had about 10 best friends. 1 of which I still actually consider my best friend. My point is that at a younger age it’s harder to find and keep a best friend. People grow up and change. When someone tells you, “You’ve changed.” don’t always take that badly. With growth comes change. When you were 3 years old, you may have liked pancakes, is it a bad thing that you’re now 16 and don’t like pancakes anymore? Of course not. The same goes with friends. When you both were 3 maybe you hated soccer, now that you’re 16 you love soccer, don’t let anyone tell you that such change is a bad thing.
The reality of the matter is that not all friends will stay forever. But you will always be there for yourself. Don’t let others hold you back from achieving what you want to achieve. There’s always someone out there that who will accept you with all your growths and changes, that should be your best friend.
